The Cutting Room #8

I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 weeks since I last posted. I knew it would happen at some point and I’m going to use the same excuse I’ve been using for the past year now; university. But I’m almost done. I have just over a month left, with only my dissertation to do and then I’m officially free!! I’ve also been applying for jobs/attending interviews which is really exciting and scary. I’m hoping to go into a job in PR and Communications so it’s really competitive but I’m liking the process so far, I just hope I get a job for when I graduate (hopefully before). Anyway, despite being so busy, the cinema has been my sanctuary so let’s do this.

The Cutting Room #6

I’ve been really busy in the past couple of weeks but I’ve still managed to blog which is good, I’m glad I’ve kept to my word. The reason for me being so busy is partly uni and partly personal. I’m super excited to announce that my podcast is now live! I’ve been working so so hard on it and I’d love for you guys to give it a listen. It’s a fictional whodunit-style mystery about an internet celebrity going missing. It’s called Who Took Harmony Warren and it’s entirely produced and written by me, there’s a full cast of talented people and I’m really proud of it! So if you’re feeling nice, maybe you’ll give it a listen and let me know what you think?

The Cutting Room #5

I’m beginning to feel bad for my blog because I don’t treat it right. I’ll post regularly for a while, feeding it with content and activity and then I just cut it off and let it run by itself. Then after neglecting it for a couple of months I waltz right back in as if nothing has happened and hook it back up, knowing deep down that there’s always that chance I’ll cut its supply once again. But aside from that, things have been busy.

The Cutting Room #4

Hello, hello! It has been a while and nothing much has changed. In my absence I did travel around Europe for 3 weeks which was amazing. 10 cities, 5 countries and a lot of sight seeing later and I definitely have the travelling bug. Since I got back in mid August I celebrated my 20th birthday which was nice, but also reminded me that this year I have to get my shit together and find a proper job as I begin my final year of uni a week tomorrow.

The Cutting Room #2

With each week that goes by I find myself more and more excited for summer. I didn’t realise how much TV and how many films I miss out on because of uni and work so I’m super excited to be able to catch up on everything over the summer. Summer is by far my favourite season, I’ve always loved it from being a kid. And I’m doubly excited for this one because I’m travelling around Europe for a few weeks! But before that, I need to finish up with uni.┬áIt’s been a quiet month in terms of my viewing habits but here’s what I’ve been up to.

The Cutting Room #1.

I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 months since I last posted on here. In the new year I told myself I’d up the amount of effort I put into my blog and the kinds of posts I did but it didn’t happen. I put most of the blame onto university; finding time between assignments and work was difficult and the little time I did have I spent away from the computer, mostly because my eyes demanded it. However, I’m done with university work for the summer now and while I’m currently doing a 6 week placement, it means I have a little more time on my hands. I love writing and I love blogging so I’ve been keen to get back into it.
